The Nazareth program has one of the most complex and intensive family systems approach in rehabilitation. Part of our philosophy is the belief that the risk of relapse increases greatly when the person recovering does not have a support group that is willing to get educated, be processed and spend a considerable amount of time fulfilling the requirements the program prescribes. We believe that creating change in the person is not enough; the environment that he or she will return to needs to be modified as well. Intensive workshops, seminars and programs are implemented in order to address the major issues within the family and build intimacy within relationships. Hence, part of the admission process is screening the family or primary support group that will participate in this area of the resident’s program.
For international cases, the support system is still required but arranged on a case to case basis which is handled personally by the Deputy Director Ms. Alexandra Garon. (See Contact Us for more details) |
